Tell us about your loved one's everyday care needs and your interest in a family caregiver.

At Avani Home Care, we understand how much comfort a familiar face can bring. For some families, having a qualified relative provide everyday support can make home care feel even more personal.

We assess the prospective caregiver's eligibility, qualifications, availability and suitability for the proposed role.
Selected applicants complete applicable background screening, employment paperwork and other checks.
Approved hires complete orientation and training appropriate to their job responsibilities and legal requirements.
The agency coordinates an individualized plan for permitted nonmedical tasks and any required supervision.
When hired, agency employees are paid through Avani's payroll process under their employment terms.
From companionship to help with everyday routines, nonmedical caregivers support independence and dignity in the familiar surroundings of home.
Services depend on the care recipient's needs, the agreed care plan and the caregiver's permitted role.

Examples of nonmedical caregiving activities that may be included in an approved care plan:
Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming and daily hygiene.
Conversation, emotional support and help keeping social connections.
Meal preparation, light housekeeping and support with home routines.
Everyday movement and activity support within the approved nonmedical scope.
Reminders to take medication, without administration or medical treatment.
Support that gives other family caregivers time to rest or manage responsibilities.

Avani's family caregiver option is intended for families purchasing nonmedical home care services privately. An eligible family member may apply for agency employment, but this is not a guarantee of employment, services or payment.
A relative may be considered for caregiver employment if an appropriate arrangement is available and the person meets agency hiring and other applicable requirements. Employment is not guaranteed.
Experience can be helpful, but each applicant is reviewed against the agency's current qualifications, screening and training requirements.
Caregivers hired through the agency must complete applicable onboarding, orientation and training. Ask our team for the requirements relevant to the role.
